Do you struggle with getting your tech community excited to learn new technology? Albuquerque Public Schools has developed a digital badging system as an extension of our Educational Technology Professional Development. Come explore and get inspired to better engage educators through digital badging. You'll hear about our digital journey, which included developing learning objectives, generating and distinguishing material, designing and assigning digital badges, and rewarding participation by partnering with local companies to offer prizes. Educators are able to earn badges through self-paced courses or attending in-person workshops. We'll talk about our successes and challenges to give you some new ideas and views on how to get started with digital badges in your own district.
